It does require that you send us the cell phone and the technicians will disassemble your device in an effort to recover your data. Your device will be rendered useless after this process (more than likely it is useless to you know so this is not new news).
Cell phone forensics - dead cell phone data recovery may also recover data that has been deleted. The technician will not know what files you need off the phone and will attempt to recover everything.

You ship us a dead device (no power, water damage ok), a locked or unaquirable (data port inaccessible) device today including signed user agreement and liability release. If you have it include device power supply (A/C or Car Charger).
REQUIRED FORM: Please print, complete, sign and send this form in with your device(s).
Use the basic cell phone forensics service if phone is not dead or is unlocked and you have all cables, power cord and accessories.
