If the assigned investigator notifies us that your search results can not be obtained, you will receive such a message in your account with instructions regarding your options. In some cases your investigator may need additional information or you'll be given the opportunity to order a new search if you choose. If you're eligible for a refund or credit you may elect to keep it on your account or have it refunded to your credit card.
If you choose to keep your credit on account, simply use the "ask a question" function within your secure online account and supply all the new details of your search request. When you want to use your credit simply let customer support know via the online message system associated with the Order ID for the credit.
