Yes, anyone with a website can become an affiliate. Please note that our services are geared toward citizens in the USA and Canada. If your web site caters to customers outside these two countries it is unlikely that your site will be accepted at this time.

If a visitor clicks on my affiliate link and leaves, will I still get commission if they come back and purchase?
You will earn a commission for purchases made up to 1 year after a person visits your site and clicks on your affiliate link. In other words, if a person clicks on your affiliate link in your web site and is directed to our store but does not make a purchase at that time, you may still earn a commission if that person returns to our store within 1 year and makes a qualifying purchase. If a person makes more than one purchase from our store within 1 year (as long as that visitor did not click on another affiliates link prior to returning), you will earn a commission on each sale.

When do I start earning commissions?
Immediately. You start earning commission as soon as your links are up and the first sale is made through these links.

When are my commissions paid?
Payments are made by the 20th day of each month for the preceding month. Payments are made only when your balance exceeds $50. If your commission for the month is less than $50 they will accumulate and be paid in the month you reach $50 or more.

I have my own personal web site, can I apply?
Sure! We allow both companies and individuals to become BestPeopleSearch.com Affiliates.

Does my web site have to be People Search-related?
No. Our program is a good fit for people search web sites, but other sites can certainly link to BestPeopleSearch.com and make money too.

How does BestPeopleSearch.com know how much traffic is coming from my site?
Your links will contain a unique tag that represents your site. When a visitor uses one of your links to browse BestPeopleSearch.com, the tag is stored, and when that visitor makes a purchase, the tag is passed to our order database and credits the sale to your account.

How do I know when someone has bought something from my site?
You will know right away that a sale has been made. When you sign-up, you can select the option to receive an email every time someone makes a sale from your site.
