If the assigned investigator notifies us that your search results can not be obtained, you will receive an online message in your account with instructions regarding your options. In some cases your investigator may need additional information or you'll be given the opportunity to order a new search if you choose. If you're eligible for a refund or credit you may elect to keep it on your account or have it refunded to your credit card.
If you choose to keep your credit on account, simply reply to the online message you receive indicating your preference. When you want to use your credit simply reply to the message in the online system at any time and let us know what you would like to do, and we will provide you with further instructions.
If you want your credit issued back to your credit card used to place the original order, please follow these instructions so we may process your credit promptly. Send your request for a refund with your Invoice Number in the subject line to refunds@bestpeoplesearch.com. In the body of the message indicate that you'd like a refund to the credit card used when you placed your order (list last 4 digits) and look at the table below to indicate the amount of the refund you expect to receive. Your refund will be placed into the queue promptly and you will receive an automated response acknowledging our receipt of your request. Refunds are batch processed weekly, so please allow at least 5 business days from the end of the week you request the refund for your bank to post the credit into your account.
